I’ve lumped aquatic centres and waterparks together because the lines between them are blurring. You can often find thrilling waterslides and inflatable floating playgrounds at the local pool these days, and of course they’re heaps cheaper than their theme park counterparts! They’re also a popular option for birthday parties. However, for something special, the bigger waterparks really can’t be beat on a hot summer day. Look for discounts that kick in after certain hours, or consider season passes if you plan to go more than once.
